Material: Cast resin or dyed silicone blades, dust, backlighting
Blue is just clear, waiting for permission to be a color. Seen this close, the piece stops being an object and becomes a weather condition: a row of translucent blue blades, backlit until they glow from within, their edges softened by a fine layer of dust that has settled into every groove. Water, or something pretending to be water, gathers at the tip of one blade without ever finishing the drop. The image refuses to clarify its own scale, this could be a glacier wall or a single shard held an inch from the lens ,and that refusal is the point: cold, at this magnification, is less a temperature than a color, less a material than a held breath.
